1800s George Wostenholm and Son Original Pipe Straight Razor
all my items are sold for best offer

1800's George Wostenholm & Son pipe razor is a great find. Corporate Mark
granted by the Cutler's company DEC. 27, 1694. The original & only true pipe
razor manufactured only by GEORGE WOSTENHOLM & SON LIMITED, Sheffield.
This vintage straight razor was one of GEORGE WOSTENHOLM's older razors and as it
has "son" and not "sons" in company name.

The front tang has the "Pipe" logo and the rear tang says "George Wostenholm
& Son, Sole Manufacturers of the Original & True (pipe) Razor". This is a
very solid vintage Sheffield razor with a small amount of staining, which
should polish out, otherwise there are no other problems. Blade measures
9/16" and is snug in the scales. The original "Pipe" coffin type box is in
poor condition.

The handle shows wear, where the blade is connected and on the back side
shows some discoloration near the end. Seems to be dark brown horn or bone
handles. George Wostenholm & Son, Sole manufacturers of the original and
true (symbol of pipe). On the opposite side is a large symbol of the Pipe.
The handles are horn. In good condition with good blade. Measures 6 1/4"
long.

Terms of Sale:
When I describe an object as 'VINTAGE' or 'ANTIQUE' they will have the typical wear and tear you
would expect with an older piece. Light scratches, scuffing & crazing and such like would be
expected as opposed to a NEW condition. If an item is in MINT condition I will say so. If an item
has any major issues - dents, deep marks, stains or heavy scratches etc. I will bring these to your
attention in my description.
